The TESL Ontario Blog team relies on a dedicated team of volunteers to ensure the ongoing success of our most popular public-facing resource.

The focus of the TESL Ontario blog is on practical classroom techniques, teaching strategies, practical uses for technology in the classroom and in-class activities spanning all areas of language training in Ontario.

The TESL Ontario Blog averages over ninety thousand visits per month. A well-organized and self-motivated Blog Manager is required to continue this level of success.

Open position:

Blogger Manager (1 position)

Online, self-directed workload (approx. 6-8 hours per month)
Comfortable with technology
Comfortable with editing for publication
Training provided

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide high-quality editing for posts of guest/occasional bloggers and ensure in-house writing style standards are maintained
Schedule dates for posts and deadlines for post submissions
Maintain contact with bloggers and provide feedback, when necessary
Upload posts to blog platform and ensure regular, consistent posting schedules
Participate in team meetings, as required
